I'm thinkin the wheelchair traffic is so horrendous that it must be routed to the off ramp...

Hope the weather over here isn't too bad for you. I'm in a constant state of being extremely cold. From the moment I wake up until I get into bed I'm freezing.....and it's only September.

In the UK, the only thing that helped me was going to bed with a hot water bottle. Not kidding. That kind of damp cold just hangs out in your bones.

OMG I would hate it over there, especially as a quad coz I get cold much faster than when I was on feet. It was the main motivation to move back to Florida after my wreck. That inner shaking when you're cold is a terrible feeling to me...sometimes (even down here) in Winter I'll get in my van for an hour with the heat on high. It's like the only thing to get rid of that inner shake.

Ah, I'm the complete opposite, if I sit in one place too long, I'm nasty and sopping wet from the heat and sweat. I feel like my body is burning, and will catch aflame at any given point. I miss the arctic tundra of the north.

I miss the arctic tundra of the north. Give yourself time to adjust, windy, you've only been here... what? Not even a year? Oh, and keep up the water consumption... a properly hydrated body reduces the chances of spontaneous combustion. ;D I'm with Tony, Fubb and Chan in the gimme heat club.

The humidity is what kills me down here, but that's why the Gods created tank tops, shorts and A/C. Oh, and quads don't sweat, so I don't get gushy like Brother Wind.
I met my good friend from Boston out for a drink last week, and she said there was so much snow last winter, and the Summer was very short that everybody up there s crabby. I'll stick with hot-Fla!!

The worst part is that the house we're at now only has like 7 minutes of hot water once a day, and getting out of the shower soaking wet and chilled is the worst ever. I'm going to invest in a mini heater to tote around with me wherever I go and just hover over it.

You know those self-heating thermal packs they sell for muscle aches? I have found them to be a godsend when I can't shake a chill. I bought the larger ones that you can put on your back (not the stick on kind, but the ones that come with a belt-like thingy). They get really hot and stay hot for about 6 hours. I would imagine Boots would sell them over there.
