So Andy and I decided to drive down from Scotland to the south of France (currently living in a tent) so that he could do some paragliding. Here are a few pics I got of him.
This is one of him toting his paragliding stuff around.
This is one of him after lauching in Annecy, France.
And here's a pic in St. Andre les Alpes.
We also had a quick ice cream in Geneva, Switzerland one afternoon. I made a friend.

Ask the chairstud if he'll push my quadass up that mountain...it'll be a great workout for him, and I'd love that view!!

i made a mistake; it should be 'connaitre'
devodiva; who knows? the fate of little guapito is a mystery...the xpen$$ive cat hotel? andy's sister(w/the cat-phobic hubby)? someone else? smuggled into france?...or...perhaps...released into the wild?

you know...all that hauling just can't be good for andy's shoulders long-term. the upper body just wasnt meant to do take that kind of repeated punishment...stuff like hand-cycling up a mountain and all. i mean, it looks impressive..it IS impressive...but what is it doing to the joints?
or am i off-base here?

Joints are temporary regardless. We're all dying. Might as well use them being awesome.

Totally agreed E and Jason. Use whatever you've got being awesome. Joints are overrated and mostly replaceable.

I've need a new right shoulder for years now. It hurts constantly, and some days, like today, it's extra bad. Howver, the down time for me is not worth it, and very severe down time. I would be many months without being able to do anything, as my right arm is the only one i can really use with any decent function. I mean i can't even pick up my cell phone with my left, or type. I've decided to just suffer with it. It's not like it stops me from pushing or changes my personality, like some pain can, so fuck it....just deal with it!! Actually, I do a great amount of working out with the few muscles i have, which are basically shoulders, biceps, no triceps and one wrist extensor muscle that isn't receiving the full signal to work.

Yeah, I've trashed both shoulders over the years but the right side is worse. I know a few people that have had the rotator cuff done and they all say the same thing - the fix is worse than the problem for many months. ;D So, you live with it until you're forced to get it done.
Nice pics, Chan.

Alabama would be in complete contrast to Scotland. I have been to Alabama but I am not so sure I would want to go to Scotland. And you are right Tony, give me the heat any day over the cold. I really hate the hot weather as I can never get cool enough and am not looking forward to summer this year. Boy am I living in the wrong climate but it's where I know. Winter here is pretty mild except that day it was over 35C this year, as it doesn't go below freezing very often sadly. Never seen snow except from a distance on the mountains down south, but there there have been huge hailstorms here that look like show on the ground afterwards. Give me cooler weather anytime.
