BEHOLD...the quad hand!!! This hand lacks any movement and very little sensation, yet pushes a chair, types, drives, writes, holds/grabs cell phone, touches to give pleasure, yet can't open a piece of candy. Crazy!!

Ah, the elongated thumb nail. Noteworthy because of the benefits of lifting paper/cards/etc with it....among lots of other things I can't think of at the moment.

Wondering what the counterpart 'chairdude' would look like...hehe Oh snap, I totally asked my dad for one of those when I was younger. Only she was a photographer or something. I don't even think I would have preferred a "Ken" doll version, though, because at that point I wasn't old enough to see disabled guys sexually and just saw disability itself as an extremely interesting thing. So at that age, I think I actually would have been happy with either a male or a female one.

haha...the 'elongated thumbnail'!!! You don't miss anything, do you? Actually, it's great for scratching, but when I grab my cell, which rests in a little camera holster I have Gorilla glued to the frame of my chair, I slightly lick my thumb and index finger. Just a light lick gives the skin enough friction or stickiness to grab easily. I do the same to grab most things, and believe me, that trick works.
As for the chair dolls, I think everybody is 'wired' uniquely!!! I started very young experimenting sexually, like even before I knew what to do exactly, but I remember being very interested orally, so I have always had an 'oral fascination' with girls. I'm sure I'm just wired that way!! "Share a smile, Becky"...I love that name!!! lol

...curious you mention that Heather. My daughter took her first Kindergarten trip to the library and took out a book called "Three cheers for Becky". Then again, there is a boy in her class who uses a chair and she likes him because his wheels "have cool lights".

My kids are showing signs of sharing my interests as well. I wonder if they're picking up signals that we're unconsciously sending, or if there is something genetic going on?

Ah, reminds me when I was younger and a wheelchair I used had the vanity wheels with the flashing lights - and of course light-up shoes were all the rage, but not being able to walk, light-up shoes weren't really a valid option, so I had gotten the wheels, which weren't entirely intended for wheelchair use (for skateboards I believe) and when I rolled in with those I was the coolest thing in class lol.

Well, I know my view of chairs goes against some Devness, but I treat my chair like a horse - hate bells n whistles, or dumb stickers/flags that I see on some chairs. I like my spoke guards which give my wheels a unique look, and I like no side arm rests because they are restrictive and confining looking to me, but man, to me, this chair is a horse. I ride it hard, it's my freedom and my prison all in one. Sometimes people will give my chair a good long stare and say something like, 'Wow, that's a sporty wheelchair, you must really build up arm strength!' Or, i'll b sitting in the Sun, like a Lizard, and somebody will ask, 'Are you okay?' But It's my van that really draws strange comments, like, 'Wow, so you drive that?' or 'Well, at least it gets you out of the house!' My van is my horse, too! I don't care about if it looks like a $40k van. It runs great and looks ok. Best part is no payment and gets me from point A to point B.

Hey Dollywood....it's appalling to think that those jailhouse intake guards could be so brutal and callous. This is NOT the America I want to live in, or pay for. If that guard would've dumped me out, I would've smashed my face on concrete. The cops are lucky Mr. Sterner didn't have serious injuries!! Still, I think she should be charged with assault. Here's a pic of my new honey!! Check out her legs that are spasming.

She's hot Tony, but be careful where you put your mouth... she's probably made in China.
