Thanks so much, Slinx...I don't play as much as I used to, but I really love this song, so I wanted to try it. It's unplugged so it doesn't sound as good as it could, but I thought it's all right. The lyrics seemed personal to me in my life.
"Ready For Love"
Walkin' down this rocky road Wondering where my life is leadin' Rollin' on to the bitter end Finding out along the way What it takes to keep love living You should know how it feels, my friend
Ooh, I want you to stay Ooh, I want you today
I'm ready for love Oh baby, I'm ready for love Ready for love Oh baby, I'm ready for love
Now I'm on my feet again Better things are bound to happen All my dues surely must be paid Many miles and many tears Times were hard but now they're changing You should know that I'm not afraid

Hi (P)Tony, I find those lyrics particularly relevant in my life currently too. It seems to be a great song for transition and self-discovery, or perhaps emerging from the chrysalis?
I was very depressed (not just emotion lowered, but narrowed to no emotion) for a long while, and when I came out of it, I rediscovered the power and joy in singing, just for the sake of singing! I have pondered on how singing is an emotional expression as an act, I didn't sing at all when I was depressed. I don't care if you sound "ready for the internet" or not, do it anyway!

I'm sure there has been studies on it, but I'm pretty sure when you participate in a song by singing, or playing an instrument it touches your brain in a different way, maybe a more meaningful way. Even if someone doesn't sing that well it's a very personal part of music and the singer is inextricably part of the song. When I sang these lyrics they felt so close to me because they sounded like my life . So no matter who you are please keep singing in the shower Ha ha ha
It's finally starting to warm up a little bit down here in Florida, so I think I will be sitting in the sun a little bit today. I think all quads love the sun, don't they?

Hello Tony, when I found that picture of that bloke reading your book, I brought it for kindle. Last night I was listening to it through Alexa, and you have had an interesting life. Regarding your mother and father, your sister and your interest in music. Getting a job at Capitol records, living in Baltimore, then Florida. I can relate to many of the physical things, but overall it’s a bloody good book. How long did it take you to write?
Pete, 👍
