We're due for a fun and show-off-y thread around here, I think.
Like most (all?) devs, I am a fan of the creative ways PWD find to do things differently. Whether that's a workaround for a daily task, an actual trick or stunt, a chair handling skill, a quirk of your body, or some other cool (to us) thing you can do...share it here!

Nothing. I walk with a limp with bad balance, so if looking like I'm train-wreck blitzed out of my mind drunk while walking is a trick, I guess I got that...

One of my friends likes to say my entire life is one elongated "life hack."
Maybe something more "devvy" is that when I grab something like a drink, I'll lightly lick the inner part of my thumb and finger, then breathe a certain way while contorting my body to induce a muscle spasm in my hand. As it spasms, the fingers open and I put my hand around the can/bottle/etc. and let my fingers close. I pull my wrist back to hold the grip. I do things like this countless times per day.
Never trust a man in a wheelchair with dirty shoes.
I don't often think about what I'm doing with my body but here's something. If I want to reach something a little out of my reach I arch my back/neck to bring my chest and arms forward to hopefully be able to grab the thing I'm reaching for. This doesn't always work because I've got permanently curled up fingers (or claws as I lovingly call them, lol), however, if I can fenagle my fingers around the object I can usually grab it.
“Basically, at the very bottom of life, which seduces us all, there is only absurdity, and more absurdity. And maybe that's what gives us our joy for living, because the only thing that can defeat absurdity is lucidity.” - Albert Camus

If I pinch my dick head the right way, it makes my left leg spaz out hardcore. Also happens with high pressure shower head hitting dick with water the right way. Has happened with sex as well.
I can only get my chest clear by doing a certain breathing technique and hardly forcing sudden air outward while pressing in on my stomach with my webbed fingers interlocked.
I have to use a grabber stick to reach things (we need far more advancements in grabber types that have much better grip points and perhaps a scoop for items small on the ground). To feed myself, I have to use my left arm and sling it across my body and use my index finger and thumb under my right elbow to move it where I need to move it. Without support they just collapse with any upward motion.
When cooking I use my palms to move around to make sure my wheelchair wont get dirty. I also use lots of paper towel to clean my hands when in the kitchen.
I once came out of a gas station in my normal fashion and was greeted by a woman who said that she was impressed with how I got in and out of the door. I told her that she should see me get into bed! She didn't. True story.

I recently was shown a way of getting down steps in my wheelchair backwards if there is a railing to hold onto, I was pleasantly surprised how easily I managed it. I’m not sure I would like to try too many steps though!

going down steps is doable if tricky and you need 2 sturdy railings ... have dropped down 3 steps in a wheelie (was a lot younger so wouldnt do it now) for the life im me I just cant mamage getting up a flight of stairs in my chair 🤪 ... top tip ... use a lift

This particular time there was only one railing, with fairly big steps Don’t get me wrong, I would always avoid this situation if possible, But I am always intrigued of new ideas/tricks when in a difficult situation. You never know when it could come in handy for you. I’m no spring chicken teenager anymore either so I have my limits🤣
When I was younger, my brother and friends would ride on the back of my power chair; I also used to do spins on slick surfaces, which was probably ill-advised.
These days I just use my chair to bump objects when I need to, which is rather brutish, but does the job.
