I’m pretty strictly an SCI dev as an adult. Growing up I had a wide range of interests but part of that is just what was available to me, and the other part is that I find most disabilities interesting in a non-sexy way. Once I was old enough to understand the sexual turn-on side of being a dev, I noticed the difference. SCI is a consistent favorite but certain amputees have something very appealing too. I’m particularly into male SAE amps and I think it’s because I really like how dexterous the remaining hand becomes 😅 This PSA had a pretty big impact on my SAE devness: www.lbbonline.com/news/disabled-lovers-kiss-the-awkward-away-for-international-kissing-dayAnd this reel also helped: www.instagram.com/reel/CoQSLIJrt0PI find guys like these two super sexy, but mainly when they’re doing the kinds of adapted things you see in these vids. With SCI guys, there are many more points of attraction.

My fantasies change from time to time as well, since being on this forum a para could turn my head Mostly it's always been limping and walking with a cane or crutches, but I read some books with partial blindness (like in one eye), which also became a thing for me. And then there is arm paralysis, like in the reel above, I looked at the guy's profile and it's cool that he is able to adapt to everything so well, but it's the presence of the paralysed arm that totally pushes my buttons. I don't think I'd feel the same if he was an amputee doing the same things. I am also fascinated with sign language, but I don't think that is so much of a dev thing, more a general interest. So overall, it depends on what I am exposed to, but it hasn't changed that much since I used to pretend in my room as a teenager.

I realize that I am not really an amp dev because neither of those guys I linked to are SAE lol -- a true amp dev would have her terminology on point (as an aside, it seems like amp devs are often more specific than other types, like preferring a L or R limb). For me not primarily being into amps, a paralyzed arm is more exciting than a missing arm but the most important factor is what the remaining arm is like. It love the contrast. Now there's some classic SCI-dev talk!

I'm interested from a medical point and general curiosity in all types of disabilities, but my dev disability preference mostly involves legs, non-functioning, or with limited functionality.
I've tried to figure out for a while why it is the legs for me...I'm not sure. I like to check out legs, even on AB guys. I find good, well-proportioned, and toned legs on a guy attractive, and I also have a deep curiosity and interest in paralyzed legs or at least not fully functioning legs. For me, it's definitely a leg thing; that's why I keep saying I'm a leg girl. And I don't have a foot thing/fetish or anything, it's more about the leg. So it's not about deformed feet, as some people have a fetish for that; it's about the leg for me. I mean, the foot is attached, but my interest is the leg. I'm totally into legs, either paralyzed, partially paralyzed, damaged, scarred, or in leg braces, and a guy using crutches or canes or such things. This also brings me to I'm not an amputee dev; I definitely want the legs attached to the guy. And if it's an amputee, I'm not into the prosthetics from a dev standpoint, then he should just use a wheelchair.
I haven't been able to explore this on a deeper level, but I also have something about a guy not being able to breathe normally. It's a weird one. Like Asthma or something that requires help with breathing is kind of fascinating to me. A while back, I came across a guy at work who had some kind of condition I don't remember but had breathing problems, he was in the ER for it all the time, and he was an attractive dude, and it totally gave me intense dev feelings.
Another time, I saw a guy change out or clean his PEG tube port in his stomach or something, and that kind of intrigued me A LOT too. He was kind of cute to me, and I was like, whoa...what is this? I mean, I didn't say anything to him, but I felt a dev tickle.

My interest were paras since childhood. Hidden from the world and very ashamed of...
When I found PD at age 32 I got to know CP and found out it gets me going A LOT!! But I was even more ashamed of that (because it's an even more "severe" disability), and interestingly it was never something I would want to experience IRL, it's more in the 'watching yt clips' - realm.
Other than that no interests... Like amputees, blindness or deafness, Tourettes ... They don't push my dev buttons.
