Okay, not a crisis but an experiment. I'll be 45 next month and have always kept my hair short. I decided in January to try growing it out. I'm at that really annoying, don't know what to do with it stage. How long do you think I should go? This was after fishing most of the day so not my best pic.

Hair looks good, I was too bald for that long ago. I think you should trim the beard though. Make it nice and tight. You can still keep the front longer to lengthen your face, but I think it looks too long now.

Agreed that a tidied beard helps. I like a little bit extra on top, but you still kind of have to show that you’re paying attention to SOMETHING 😂
How’s the heat/sweat situation with that much hair? I can barely take a step without drenching myself if the temp is anywhere over 70, and I wonder what it’s like for you, considering that’s probably one of the only places you sweat, right?

I have never really been bothered about hairstyle, when it gets too hot, I always have the lot shaved off! At the moment the temperature in England is rising, so it won’t be long until the clippers around the back of my ears and off it comes, scalped for the summer. 😂 although I am keeping my beard, it hides the chins.

It's looking good a little bit longer! Keep going and maybe get some real life feedback from friends, fam, and people you fancy. Unless it starts getting too hot for you. Vanity is not worth being uncomfortable at our age.

Looks like a good length. Like the tousled look.
