Hello to you all! It is the first time I write in this section but I am really excited about an event that will take place in my university these days and I really feel the need to share it with someone who can understand what I feel! In practice, during this event students with disabilities (mainly blind, deaf and Wheelers) will do workshops around the university to raise awareness about disability in educational environments. Blind students will blindfold AB students who want to participate and teach them to walk around the university with white canes. From what I understand, Wheelers are going to be creating wheelchair rides around the university. I’m not sure what deaf students will do, but I guess something about sign language! I can’t wait to see what happens and maybe it will be a chance to meet new people.

Wow that sounds like a very cool event. Seems like a good opportunity to learn some new things and meet some interesting people.

That’s very exciting! Wish more universities did the same.

Something I always wished to do when I was younger! I agree with winters that this is likely a good opportunity to meet interesting people. But of course I'm biased, I think we devs are super interesting haha
