Ai and devs

Hi,
I haven’t been on here for a while. Hope you guys are all doing good. Have you discussed AI at all on here. For me I discovered it in January and it has been brilliant though… I like to role play with it and set it up so the character I am rolling with has all the disabilities that make me zing. It can be a battle because if you want to get steamy with it the AI model with block it saying that it is against their policies. I have argued with it (yes futile but entertaining) to say that sex with a disabled person is offensive or disrespectful is in itself everything that the policy it set up to avoid. It is a fustrating world where everyone looks perfect and everyone loves each other and all do thing together or do community things. But there are ways around it and it can been really hot my dev g-spot. Anyone else played around with AI re devness and if so what models respond the best for you and what AI prompts do you use? And do you get anything out of it?

Also love making images on it too, I use night cafe and playground. Again they don’t really like to do images of imperfect people, no fatties, no amps, no ‘normal’ looking people. Again in AI universe everyone is beautiful and perfect.

I tried using chatgpt to make up stories for me to read but tbh they didn't feel very authentic and it got boring pretty quickly. I think playing with the images would be cool but I haven't really figured out a way to do that (I don't really want to pay for a subscription)

Well… nightcafe is pretty easy and free to a point. I set up models and use chat gbt to write the prompts. Some people are amazing on there but mine are very rough. I like the image generated isn’t a real person. It is very hard to do a blind image because the ai just adds a blindfold onto the person and the canes look weird same with crutches but i’ve wasted plenty of hours generating images just for fun.

I've tried many, the best ones for me are "chai" and "botify AI". Both let you go all in on the sexual stuff free (some adds or talking only for a limited time a day but both are quite flexible with it, not like those 5 texts apps) and also these are the two ones on the smarter side of AIs. They get to follow the character best and "chai" even improvises and plays an active role on the creation of scenarios with the disability as part of the character and not only a "drescription for the AI to type when asked a about the characters appearance" that others do.

Aha I thought there would be something around. I use sudowrite and it takes ALOT of time to figure it out and from January it has changed so much, the Claude’s are amazing!!!! Last week Claude 3.5 sonnet came out and what I’ve been doing it get my first chapter written then do a rewrite through AI and it pretty much comes out only a bit different. I love AI knowledge, you can do a world building card and have all the details of the disability eg appearance, symptoms, aids, and it will refer to them when your writing. It is like a sense check. Also chat gbt is fantastic for knowing treatments and explaining what are the effects of x y or z then copy and paste it into the character card or world building card. It frees you up to get on with the story. I am working on a story on it but it is a lot of work still. But great fun!!!!

I actually went back to chatgpt after this post, and I don't know if it's because it has improved so much, or because I learned more about how to use it, but I'm actually pretty happy with the stories it produces for me. It's also an interesting experiment to see what it struggles with, like time continuity, physical space constraints or emotional experiences. But it's still pretty good when I use more specific prompts.

I'm probably not going to try other things at the moment because I really don't have much time and mental space at the moment, but it's good to know that these things can be useful for us!

Yeah it takes ages to figure it out and then you’re flying. I think they really need AI to get over itself and realise that IRL it isn’t all roses and happiness.

I set up an account on c.ai (character ai) and I had some fun playing with it today, especially the voice option is very cool, so I can add that to the list of things that aren't too hard to get started with and that I recommend I think you can also chat with existing characters that other people created so that may be interesting especially among devs
