Well it's official. I'm the 40 Year Old Virgin!

It's kinda funny and kinda depressing. I've never officially had a girlfriend. Although I was very close with a girl a few years ago. She just didn't want to call us boyfriend girlfriend because of how we met.

I know sex isn't everything. But yeah I do get in that mood somewhat frequently. I know this isn't a dating site. But I would love to talk to any ladies near Pittsburgh (or who are willing to visit haha).

I am into my 52nd year without sleeping with a woman but I am okay with it. As some of you know, I am going through chemotherapy at the moment and I am suffering with autonomic dysreflexia at one point last week gave me a cardiac arrest. I was rushed into hospital and spent 13 hours on a heart machine, luckily it was the symptoms of dehydration and I was sent home. Yesterday I had my sixth chemotherapy and I am in bed not feeling too clever at the moment. It’s brutal having chemo, hopefully the treatment is working, I know I am going to look forward to a good Christmas. I hope you are all well and enjoying your life, because it’s so worth it.

I am doing okay mate, my last cancer Markers dropped over 100, to 56 and I have got to get it down to at least five until they will give me surgery. The trouble is, I just don’t feel like eating at the moment and it’s one of the killers, you have got to eat and drink.. I have been on the Burger King’s whopper’s which are helping, but feel like I am going to be a great lump when I get fit. I have got myself a bucket list, the first thing is an all-terrain wheelchair, from magic mobility so I am going to go up the Lickey Hills and do Facebook plug Pete Road to recovery from the top of there. I have lost all the hair off my head, and I look like a boiled egg 🥚😊… but I am going to go through a bit and finish the treatment, I have got to have 12 altogether and I’ve had six at the moment.

She was dating a good friend of mine when we met. They dated for 6 months but then he broke up with her and started dating another girl the next day. So he technically didn't cheat but realistically he did. At first I was shoulder to cry on but it definitely became more than that. She wanted to put some distance between dating him and dating me so she refused to call us a couple.

I am 36, gay, with no legs and no husband! I am so frustrated! I am in multiple dating sites both normal ones and dev sites but the only gay devs that seem to contact me are either living on the other side of the country or are over 70! No offense to older members of the group, but I want someone close to my own age for companionship and sexual compatibility. It’s like the Northeast has no gay devs under 70, which I know is not possible.

Hey KevinK, just wanted to say that I loved that subject line. On my birthday last year I turned to a friend and said 'well, that's 1 year closer to being a 40 year old virgin.' I love that film. I've never had a girlfriend either, official or otherwise so I feel you.
