Hello all! I've been coming and going to/from this site for years. Last time I was here I had angered a few senior members, so I decided it was best for everybody that I take a long break. Some years later, here I am stopping by to see if I'm welcome. Some basics I should get out of the way:
Single straight male not looking for a relationship.
Interested in chatting with friendly people and making friends as I have here in the past SOOoo... back to say hey!
T-10 complete para using a manual chair, a pretty nice TiLite, (pictures can follow if there's any interest). Beside the chair, can't think of any other assistive devices that I use aside from the usual medical supplies for bowel/bladder management. Devotees and disabled alike may feel free to ask me whatever and wherever they wish without fear of offending or embarrassing me, 21 years in the chair have made me pretty resilient. Falling in love with a lovely dev girl from Puerto Rico also made me pretty accepting of people's... shall I say peccadilloes.
Sorry fella's, I'm still straight. I'm willing to be friends with anybody who I find mutual happy-friendly-feelings with regardless of their interests, political ideals, or philosophies. I've had a few gay friends in the past, but it often turned contentious due to unrequited sexual interest. Adding that to all the devotee stuff and it makes for a complicated friendship with lots of pitfalls, but I do my best not to judge anybody and enjoy challenging myself.
I'll end this diatribe and wait for a response 🙃

Thank you dutchdev. I met a nice Dutch dude named Vito in Italy during a 3 month stay. He was awesome about dragging me and my chair all around Cesena Italy. Maybe it was because I used to be a naval aviator and his online name, as an aspiring pilot, was "The Flying Dutchman" but we became fast friends. Making friends with a PWD can be uncomfortable or even inspire fear in the average able bodied citizen and I was lucky to make a friend like Vito.
We went to a Dutch club at the bottom of some street level stairs and between the chair, my dimples, and (probably mostly) my American passport, I was a popular personality in the club that night. I was impressed by how readily the bouncers picked up my chair with me in it chauffeuring me around all night and how many people were nice and welcoming toward me when I approached them for company. The Dutch are a very warm and welcoming people and I see you are no different. Thanks for the welcoming reply, I hope to share some good conversation with you soon 😁
