Okay ladies... question. Since you discovered this site, whether that be 2 weeks or 2 years ago, have your dev interests increased? Do you think about it more? Is your dev side a bigger part of your life than before?

i don't think it has increased my interest... but it's definitely changed my perception of my interest for the better.

I've made some AMAZING friends whom I care for very much, wheelers and devs. I am so grateful not to be alone anymore. I've learned a lot too, some good, and some I could've done without lol.

I have to chime in here...I agree with Dolly, I've become more "okay" with being a dev as a result of interacting with people on this site. Before this, my only experiences had been with the unsavory sort of dev and the hostile reactions of people with disabilities to that sort of dev. Contact with real, decent devs, and wheelers who feel positively about us, has helped me a lot to feel better about myself.
The same goes with my BIID. I'd never interacted with wheelers as someone with BIID before (only as an AB, I've never "pretended" online, I don't see the point of that). Clearly, not everyone is very understanding, but I've met a few wheelers who were accepting and even encouraging, and their acceptance has gone a long way towards helping me to overcome the shame and guilt associated with that. Thanks to all of you - you know who you are. Thanks for your open minds and your compassion.

Forgive me for be so "missing", my 4 year-old childl has begun the school and, among that, my work and the house, I don't have time neither to breathe. There are days that I want to scream to see if I can relax myself!! With regard to the question: before Paradevo, I had never taken contact with "devs" or with "wheelers", this has been something wonderful for me. Fortunately the first site I entered was this one, so I didn't have the bad experiences that have had others. For me, Paradevo has been very beneficial. I have understood and learned that to be a "dev" is not weird, I have confirmed that my attraction is similar to anything other. Thank you. I will try to be more present... I will try to look for time.

For me I think that it is more the ability to be able to put a name on the feelings that i have always felt. The site has sure been a comfort to know that you are not totally sick minded and on your own. My way of thinking has probally changed as I have learnt to accept myself and grow with the devness, not against it.

I would say that it hasn't increased/decreased as much as developed since being on this site. There's a greater understanding and acceptance, but the level of interest remains high, as always, for me.
(Sometimes debilitatingly so!)
