This question is for the devs. How far would you really travel to meet your man? I mean, sure, logistics might not always work at first, but what would you really do? Especially if your man can not get out very often and travel?
It is just a question that keeps plaguing me. Enlighten me please?

I so far travel to 2 far away states to meet with this cool guys, one of them became my boyfriend for almost 2 years.... Of course it was a lot of chemistry and we communicate for a while before doing that...When 2 people like each other its about find the way to work things out..I just got lucky they were both in the states...... the one that became my boyfriend paid for some of my travels up there so that was definitely helpful.....

I have a young child, so traveling long distances is not an option for me, unless a guy likes taking a 5 year old out for dinner and drinks. I have to stick reasonably close to home.

Well, this is hypothetical only, as I am married. But, I would travel to the ends of the earth to MEET the guy, but only if I had known him long enough to be quite serious and think that there was a chance that he would move here to live with me where I am (and he would have to confirm this). I have children, and could leave them to take a vacation (even several times), but couldn't uproot them and move somewhere else. I wouldn't expect the guy to move right away, but if after a few meetings we "clicked", then to continue the relationship long-term, he would have to.

Thank you for answering my question. Hopefully, a Dev will appear here in Michigan. I am still patiently waiting.
