Hello everyone.
I just found this site through a Yahoo group I belong to. I'm a c5-c6 quad for 24 years, broke my neck at 15, but have lived a good life. Finished high school, 4-yr college, have a job, and am living "independently" with help from aides.
From what I've read I commend you women on looking for the chair but then past it to who is sitting in it. I used to think if I was sitting on a couch I'd be like any other guy. But I'm not. I need the wheelchair but it does not define who I am.
So thank you for your support.
