does anyone here have experience with using Voice Recognition Software for inputting text? i've got a large amount of handwritten text i'd like to put on a disk, but there's no way i can type it in.
would a VRS program do that? any recommendations?

I've also been using Dragon on and off over the years. I recently upgraded to version 9 and it is absolutely amazing, 300% better than #8! It's so accurate that I barely type anymore... I bought an array microphone called the "Acoustic Magic", just sits on my desk and I speak normally. It's awesome. I just disliked the headset, although it worked great as well.

I can only concur with the above...some operating systems have native voice-recognition, though they usually are simple and not as effective as the above.

Dragon 9 rocks. Pro version offers extra. Plantronics wireless headset is a worthwhile purchase too.
