i think it breaks down about like this; 75-80% of women would not date a disabled guy under ANY conditions. 10-15% would consider it if there was something really special about the guy, really amazing, or say if he was just about literally the ONLY dude around, or if she got to know and value him over time...5-10% truly don't care at all if he's disabled. then there are the devs. i think it's not impossible that 1 to 2% have SOME degree of devness.

I think Tri's breakdown is pretty fair.
I know I wouldn't date a wheelchair user.

i think the percentage of women who would date a wheeler is lower,,,closer to 1/10th of 1%,,not including devgrrls in the equation becuz devgrrls are statistically so small...i have dated another wheeler so thats not a ? for me,,,would i have pre-dis?...no idea since i dont recall ever meeting a disgrrl of the proper demographic...i would like to think i would have since i never had any problem being budz with dis dudes,,,,i look at the whole dating scene as a numbers game,,,if i put myself out there and engage enuff grrlz with my banter & bullshit eventually i will land on one that sees that the teddybear might just be what she needs,,,

Hmm...I find those numbers bleak; for some reason I would see more optimistic numbers:
About 50% of people would not consider a relationship with disabled person. I think another 40% would prefer an able-bodied person for a relationship, but would not rule out a relationship with a disabled person. About 8% are probably exclusively open enough to not particularly seek out a disabled person for a relationship, but hold no qualms about it and place an able-bodied person and disabled person in equal regard for a relationship. Then there's the 1-2% (very approximate) that are probably what could be termed as 'Devotees', who actually would likely exclusively pursue a relationship with a disabled person in 'ideal conditions' if it was availible to them.

i can equate these statistics to the fact that i have a perfect head that fortuneately lost the furry covering i was born with at an early age....my experience over the years has fit with study stats,,,50% of women want a man with a full head of hair & 50% of women think a bald head is hot...
edited to add that old saying,,,"there's lies..there's damned lies,,,& there are statistics"
