Hi there
Just thought I'd put my head above the parapet here rather than start my own thread. I am a devotee (saying that feels as though I have just opened my mouth at my first AA meeting!). I feel quite shy about posting here in general, but mainly because I am neither young (I am in my early forties) or good looking and you guys (devs and wheelers both) all seem very confident and wonderfully sexy. I'm not sure I'd fit in. But anyway, hi from a shy new member.

lol...I like the AA meeting metaphor, Dominique!!! Listn, you're as welcome as anyone...don't feel shy!! I just turned 50 big ones, so I'm known as "Big Papi" to the young chickens. We're happy to have you! Hell, we need every Dev input we can get, as this thread points out.

Dominique- welcome and we are glad you are here. There are a few of us older devs here -although I feel much younger- how did 40 years pass so quickly?

I think part of the dev/wheeler issue is that it is not socially acceptable to be a dev, at least as seen in the general population. This is especially true when it comes to post specifics and/or pictures. This is one place I wouldn't want to be recognized by my family, friends, co-workers or clients!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm just starting to find my way around. Are most people here from the US or are there lots of us Europeans too?

About people, esp. devs not posting as much... Well, sometimes when I come across a topic on here, everything that I would say has already been said by other members, and it just seems a bit redundant to say "Yes, I agree with everyone who posted before me." Exactly, topics may be interesting but I never have anything to add

Hey, geographically I might not be, but it doesn't make me any less Asian! (Prepares for the onslaught of Mr. Roboto humour).
