...when my partner were making our way through a factory outlet towards a fresh grocer/cafe, my partner hanging on to my back jeanspocket rolling along kinda beside/behind me, when we passed this table of 4 girls. Whilst 3 of them were busy gasbagging and sipping their lattes, one was unashamedly staring at my partner from head to toe and back again, she practically salivating! My partner was the object of her vision from the time we rolled into the place till we disappeared past her. It was very amusing to watch. And something tells me that she was a dev and didn't know it

It might also be that she just thought he was good looking? I like the idea of him holding on to your back pocket and rolling along I also like the idea of devotee business cards - we´ll have to think of a smart logo ... maybe the one on Chan´s t-shirt?

Well, I would surely like to think that I have got a hottie in my hands I just wanted to share that experience as we don't get that "look" often, and I thought it was pretty unusual and of course I concluded she was a dev. Claire, when I mentioned this girl to my partner, his reaction was pretty much your reaction..."So you think she was just staring at me coz she was a dev?" was the reply I got from him. Hmmm...this could be the topic for a whole new thread... Can you imagine the looks if/when we give out these "devo" cards? Priceless....

This could be a new thread....are we 'naive' enough to automatically believe that every girl that checks out a hot wheeler is a dev? Lately I've been questioning my own 'devness' and wonder if in fact I belong to the latter category. Who knows.

No, I don't think we're that naive. I think it has to do with paranoia on our parts. Society really seems to hate a dev and so many of us seem to be terrified of being found out. (Sans partner, anyway.... at least judging by the "have you told your family" thread.) So, when we see a woman brazenly checking out a wheeler we think she's gotta be a braver dev than me. Well, that's one possibility anyway.

I think maybe I was guilty at that point in time, to think that that particular chic was a dev, the way she was ogling. However, after some thought, maybe it's also my own personal experience that's influencing my naivete. IE: I am a dev and check out guys in wc's/crutches, therefore, other girls who check out guys in wc's must be devs. I know, poor logic (did I mention I very nearly flunked out of my philosophy class? LOL).
Of course other girls may be attracted because of other physical attributes, but that wasn't my personal experience. That's my 2 cents, if it makes sense?

I think it makes as much sense as anything else.

LOL I was just kidding but yes, I have stopped over-analyzing my devness...too hard but I like analyzing other people's "situations" - go figure... btw: are you the same Clover as the other Clover from a few months back?
