What is this world coming when we have weigh up whether to use word waitress  ? Seriously, I'd like to think that I am an enlightened female, but I hate the use of words like actor to define the whole acting profession - what is wrong with the words actor and actress? As if the use of the word actor will disguise that someone is female  . Also, whoever coined the word chairperson should be shot. There will always be waitresses, so who cares? This crazy PC business is just plain ridiculous. And if anyone wants to jump on me for saying so... then so be it. It should all just be common sense. Keep the story going Bbuf and chuck in as many waitresses and stewardesses as you need. Would someone please give Doe a lolly pop or bowl of ice cream,,, something sweet! It's good to see someone knows the english language better than the insane PC over do gooders! Service attendant? NO,,, Check out Chick! Waiter? NO,,, Food Lakkey! Steward? NO,,, Sky Jockey! Actor? NO,,, Thats just Mel Gibson! I say we make Doe the NEW global PC Chairperson, Lady, Chick,,, just to mess with their minds! |
