I for one am dying, just dying to know what happens next and I am cheering for Tessie that she does get herhappy ending, though now I wonder if it should be with Jim, because if he was a douche enough to dump her... Well then maybe Prince Charming is out there some where else waiting for her... Yeah, and for f*cking Molly! Of all people! I mean, it's not like he doesn't already know what she's like.

Yes, but men are idiots who are helpless when confronted with a pretty face. Well, some of them are.

But Tessie is a pretty face too. I really feel like I hate Molly, because in my mind, Molly showed up and begged to be taken back and she was. And seriously you know that JIm's family is going to have a fit because they all hated Molly anyway.. Gsh, I cannot wait for the next installment...

Yeah, that Molly is a bitch! This is like reading Steven King's The Green Mile when it came out in installments. ;D

We're going to form a "We Hate Molly" group. I hope you've changed her name...

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. Unfortunately, I'm not home now and won't be for a while, so looks like the conclusion officially isn't going to get written till after the holidays.

It's not Molly's fault, it's Jim's! I can't wait for the next installment xx

By "After the holidays" You do not mean Christmas or New Years right?? I can wait till after Turkey Day but until 2010... That is just cruel...
Seriously how did Molly even get back involved, I thought that she was gone for good, esp. given that everyone hates her. Jim's family, his friends, his in laws.. Oh yeah, and his cleaning lady did not seem so crazy about her either...

Nell, first off, I just want to say that I really, really love your story and it's basically the only one I've read in the fiction section from start to finish. From reading your story, though, I've wanted to ask you for a while now if you really considered yourself to be a dev or not. I searched through your old posts just to be sure you hadn't spoken about this before and found this: I think some points you brought up in this post are interesting. I'm in my early thirties and I really never ever thought I was a dev or even know that existed. Now that I'm dating someone who is a wheeler, I think everything related to his disability is incredibly sexy. So I'm not sure if I was a dev all along or that the relationship brought out these tendencies in me. My feelings about disability are kind of the way other girls might feel about big muscles or whatever. It's attractive to me, but nothing I'm obsessed with. I find a lot of other qualities attractive too. The impression I get is that you probably aren't so much a dev as much as you're just really in love with a guy who happens to be disabled, and because you care for him so much and find him so incredibly sexy, liking those disabled bits is kind of like just a by-product of being in a relationship with him and not so much a sexual kink you've been aware of as soon as you hit puberty. I think that most of us devs have spoken about about growing up with signs of our devism (disabling our Barbies, for example). From reading your story, I especially get the impression that you may not be a typical dev just because of the glossing over of scenes/descriptions that, if your regular dev was writing or hoping to read, would involve a lot more detail and emphasis instead of just a mentioning. I don't know where I'm going with this, and I'm definitely, definitely not trying to say anything bad or negative at all! It's just that the longer I've been reading your story, the more I've been wondering about whether you're a "bona fide" dev or not (not that it matters either way). So my question is, if you and your guy were to ever break up, do you think you would actively seek out relationships with other wheelers? Or would you date them if the opportunity presented itself, but not really care if they were disabled or not? Also, do you think you would find them sexy because they reminded you of "Jim" or because you just genuinely are sexually attracted to disabled guys? Sorry for a godzillion questions, it's just something I've been wondering about ever since I started reading your story

I guess if I had to say for sure one way or another, I'd have to say I'm not a dev. I definitely never disabled a Barbie doll or had any childhood experiences like that. But I think that if you find a wheeler to be the sexiest man you ever met, you have to at least have SOME dev tendencies. So maybe I'm not a born dev, but I really think I'm converted. I never ever thought about disabled guys before my boyfriend, but lately I've had my head turned a few times by wheelers. I think you can change what you like as you get older, based on your experiences. Chan, I'm curious: what scenes gave me away?? What would a dev have elaborated on? I thought I was pretty close to the mark, based on the other stories I read on the website.
