Avatar has REALLY thrown me for a loop. I almost wish I hadn't seen it, but I will going back like a moth to the flame.
Anyone else feel like that? Anyone else feel really ridiculous to have strong feelings like that stirred up by a movie?

I actually love the movie! Can't wait to see it again. : )~
No I did not feel ridiculous. I had very strong feelings about the movie. My devo side of me was happy. ;D
You shouldn't feel ridiculous either.

I was incredibly sad for about three days afterwards. It really affected me.

I think this film got weighed down by CGI and blue people. I did watch this on a download but in my mind if you cut 2 hrs out of it of the smurfs snogging each other and hugging trees then you would possibly have one of the best Dev movies ever made. There was everything that you need in there, he was hot from start to finish. He was a Marine with a mission and it was cool that he was shown in a strong way for the most part.

Hi everyone, I know this an old post but I have to add my two cent to this. I hadn't heard of Avatar andwas wondering what the hell it was all about being in Seychelles we like get to see these movies months after everyone else but when I saw the trailer I wished I lived on the main island cause that is where the cinema is. the hype about the movie was so great everyone wanted to see it and I was willing to abandon my principle and even downlaod the thing my sister got it through a friend and I pretended not to be interested in the movie when everyone was watching it but I was dying to watch it. so I sneakily saved it on my laptop and late that night I watched it. oh it was fantastic the best movie ever like most ofyou i think the blue alien was much but Sam Worthington was fabulous plus I was a little dissapointed whne he got himself transfered from his human form into his blue being what will happen now in the sequel but no matter we have this to content with and every once in a while i watch the movie.

i first saw it sitting with my now ex-boyfriend, man that was awkward. he thought i was getting all hot for him in the cinema when really i couldn't take my eyes away from sam worthington's legs and chair. ZOMG the bit where he transfers into the bed/avatar machine thing and swings his legs around, i could watch that clip for days.
