HI
I discovered this site a couple of nights ago and it has taken me a bit of courage to post something as I really didn't realize there were so many out there with this preference.
I have been attracted to men in wheelchairs as far back as I can remember. Haven't a clue why. My Dad used to take paraplegics to play basket ball when I was about four and I used to tag along and they absolutely fascinated me, but I don't think that was the cause I think it is just something in my dna.
I married an AB man and it lasted three years. I used to fantasise that he was a paraplegic when we were in bed with each other. After that I used to chat to a quad guy on line and feel head over heels for him but he was in the States and although it got to the stage where I almost when out there, it just frizzed out though I am still in touch with him.
I then started writing to a guy for the You Are Able penpal site. He was incredible on the phone, we once spoke through the whole night, don’t ask what we were talking about, I can’t remember but we just connected. He has a hole in his spinal cord and a boney spur grows through and presses on the cord. He was about 12 when he started to fall over and walk badly. They thought it was psychological and used to put his feet on electric plates and put pulses of electricity through his legs to stimulate them. It wasn’t until he was in his late twenties, early thirties that they did an MRI and discovered the hole.
He uses crutches in the house but a wheelchair everywhere else and all the time on holiday.
So he drove over to meet me and I am pretty shy but once he got talking the connection was there. And when he left I kind of had that Mills and Boon feeling like he was the one.
About eight months later we moved in together, and two year later we married and six years on we are celebrating our sixth anniversary.
He is amazing; I think his disability has played a huge part in the way his personality turned out. Nothing really fazes him, he has a great sense of humor but getting a bit grumpier in his old age.
He was in the Paralympics twice, Barcelona and Korea, used to go scuba diving and holidayed on his own. Just a cool guy.
I did feel very guilty about my secret of being very sexually attracted to men in wheelchairs (I haven’t hear of devos until this week) so told him, I think it was like out third weekend together. He liked the idea, hadn’t come across it before. I think it gave him a confidence in our relationship as he knew that his wheelchair turned me very much on and definitely not off.
I have been mainly reading Ninja Andy’s posts, he is so sexy!!!!! What a brilliant life style too. Makes me want to sell up and buy a campavan and go touring the world. Hope he writes some more. Now I’ve got up-to-date with him I shall start to investigate the other sites.
Sorry if this is a bit long but I have had 37 years of repression not being able to tell anyone in case they thought I was strange so I am making the most of it.
Hello everyone!!!! I cannot tell you how great it is to have found you all!!!!!!
