Lately the number of hits that the stories page is getting has jumped considerably. People are reading the stories again!
So I'm doing my job and trying to drum up business. If you've got a story you think would be right for the site, send it to me. I've yet to see one negative comment, so I think your story will be enjoyed by all.

It's OK. These "pleas for stories" never seem to work, but I always have to give it a shot....

I've been writing a lot lately, but I chose not to post on Paradevo because it's not about wheeler guys. Sorry! I started a new original story on fictionpress, kind of a historical romance set in 18th century London and featuring a blind guy. I'm a little embarrassed to have real Brits read it because I'm sure my style is totally, unavoidably American, but whatever, I've been having a lot of fun writing it. It's mainly an excuse to make up a sexy blind guy character. Here's the link: www.fictionpress.com/s/2783017/1/The_Adventures_of_Tom_Finch_GentlemanAnd I can't help but put in another plug for my story over on fanfiction.net. Deaf guy in (fake) medieval Ireland! It's horribly cheezy, and certainly not for everyone on this board, but some of you might be interested. You know who you are. www.fanfiction.net/s/5755825/1/Raging_QuietOh and if you happen to enjoy either story, please let me know! Leave a message over there or on here. Writers do like to get feedback...

OMG Esquire you totally made my day! Thank you!!
I'm really glad you liked Raging Quiet. I felt kind of stupid writing a sequel to an obscure young adult novel that wasn't that well written to begin with, but the whole story sort of leaped into my mind fully formed, and I just had to write it down.

Wow, thank you Phil!! I really appreciate it It's nice to know even non-devos are enjoying the stories. I, too have been a fan...I read it when you posted a little while back, and unfortunately never got around to showing my gratitude. Now only if there was a sex change...and it'd be sublime...

Yeay!! Thank you <the poster formerly known as Windrider>! I put up the link with you in mind, haha (in part anyway). There is a deaf girl towards the end of the story, but she's only six, so that doesn't count. But hey, if you want to write a story about when she grows up, be my guest. ;D

I really wish I was a good writer! But my writing is too sucky to share with anyone, lol. So I'll leave it to the writers on this site, who's actually got talent, to bring us new stories
