I'm so new to devotees i don't think Ive met one yet. I'm a 26 year old T9 paraplegic from California, when ever i learned the term devotees it was on a dating site for disables and ever since Ive been wanting to learn more about it. I'm glad i finally found this site because before this all i found was sites that focus on women. so the questions is how would i meet any devotees or tips and pointers on the subject because I'm lost.

I read this on here all the time, how to approach a wheeler. The same way you would approach any other guy. Just start a conversation, maybe make an observation about something going on or something as simple as asking the time. Then linger enough to keep a conversation. We don't bite. You're going to strike out sometimes, we all do, but that's just how it is with everyone.
I enjoy talking to people. If I didn't, I wouldn't be out in public or at a social gathering.

Well if you are curious about us you have come to the right place. Look around, read the posts, read the main website. But meeting a devotee has nothing to do with being new to the concept, there just aren't that many of us in the world, so you're unlikely to run into one at random. The odds are slightly higher at disabled sporting events and such, and higher still among nurses, PTs and other health workers, but chances are they will keep it a secret. And we're not your only chance at finding a girlfriend, you know. Among most of the guys here, current or past relationships are/were not with devs.

Thank you, for the most part im just curious because it is still hard to comprehend that someone might be interested for my disability. in a way its kinda flattering. but for serious relationships i think im better off with girls i already know, so far it has worked just fine for me. but the thought of devs still catches my attention, just like most guys the thought of turning someone on is arousing. devogirl now that you mention it PT and nurses have been super nice and a bit flirty, but for the most part i didnt think to much about it since im super flirty too.

I think you might learn that even though the dev nature means youir chair is the initial attraction! But if smeone has a goood persnalIty etc then the atraction grows stronger. Isn't that the bases of any relationship? You are atracted to how they look first then you get to know them as a person

Alas, Charlietuna, once you see that the name has gone "white", it means he is no longer a registered member. Remember: "if the name is yellow, get that fellow".
