I watched it last night actually. I must admit that it didn't really do anything for my dev side, but that's just me. I'm a huge fan of the show though and I'm so glad that the story is taking the turn that it is (won't elaborate in case its a spoiler for anyone )

i'm waaay behind in watching this show. but knowing the character was originally meant to be in a wheelchair kinda makes any dev component lackluster for me now.

i've seen the ads for this season and it looks like it's taking an interesting turn!

but; rather have a fake limp guy than a fake wheeler no? I doubt they would have hired a real wheeler >.<

(But I read that the actor actually has gotten a problem with his leg now cos he has had to walk like that since the show started.)

last episode had me in tears.. awww those poor kids lol. but the brother was way waaaayy too young to trigger my dev thoughts even though he had md. ;P

OMG, House, House, House...
I don't think there ever was any real or fictional person, that turned on the devo part of me as House did and does. He is like a personal fantasy comes true with all the slightest preferences and details. I will never have enough words to describe how much I am thankfull to David Shore and Mr. Laurie for those long and continuing hours of delight they supply me.
Though he is not a wheeler, he blows my brains far far away.
I guess I am one of those, for whome the greates pleasure lies in an incomplete loose of legs' function )
The way he limps, the way he holds himself, how he struggles with his slow body...sometimes I wonder whether some of the creators of the charachter are devs in a way. Otherwise I can't explain this voyesristic pleasure of the camera and the story itself dealing with the handycapped and damaged aspects of House.
And the funfiction... I mentioned it here once. "House", imho, has the greatest fandom for devotees.

I saw "the event" yesterday, starring Jason Ritter, and I couldnt remember where i had seen him before, i googled him and remembered he plays the wheeler in "Joan of Arcadia", duh

What's Joan of Arcadia about? Is it worth the watch? How's the devness?

I liked to see him (Jason Ritter) in Arcadia... he remembered a lot his father in the character of "Leave yesterday behind". For me, the "devness" were ok!
But he appeared very little in the show

Joan of Arcadia is an American television fantasy/family drama telling the story of teenager Joan Girardi (played by Amber Tamblyn), who sees and speaks with God and performs tasks she is given.

In the pilot episode, God appears to Joan and reminds her that she promised to do anything He wanted if He would let her brother survive a car crash that left him a paraplegic.
