I just came across this film while surfing aimlessly today. It looks promising - anyone seen it yet? Christopher Thornton is just my type. A bit dishevelled looking, dark eyes. Yum yum! Plus it looks as if the quality of the film matches the dev factor. sundance.bside.com/2010/films/sympathyfordelicious_sundance2010

Thanks for sharing the link. I must save this to my Netflix queue so I don't forget about it by the time it gets released on video. Plus I like that a real para is playing the main character rather than just an AB guy acting.

I was beginning to think my tastes were peculiar!
Yes, the fact that the main character is what he says he is is particularly attractive. I'm not sure when or how the film is going to be released but I'm watching LoveFilm...

hey mariposa. if you were wondering why your post didn't get replied to it's just that we've talked about this movie several times before and no one has any further information on it.
i think many of us are certainly hoping it will eventually get released...somehow...somewhere...

Ah, I did think you had probably discussed it elsewhere but I couldn't find the thread. Is it on here?

Yes, looks like it has finally gotten a limited release in the US although if you don't live in a major city, you will probably have to wait for the DVD. Here is a review: www.avclub.com/articles/sympathy-for-delicious,55259/ Yet even after reading that I still don't get what it's about. It's been getting pretty bad reviews which doesn't make me want to rush out and see it. And why is the wheeler guy always homeless? Or if he isn't homeless, he's always disheveled and scruffy. Why why why?

And why is the wheeler guy always homeless? Or if he isn't homeless, he's always disheveled and scruffy. Why why why? that, or the wheeler guy is in an old hospital style chair. or the guy is not *really* paralyzed. one of these scenarios is so often present, and sometimes more than one! i don't get it either. and considering this guy is actually paralyzed in real life, you'd think it might've been the exception. sigh. i like scruffy... but scruffy and c-l-e-a-n! but i'm excited and will see it anyway.
