Agreed that's great Ruth! I can just imagine the conversation with my Mom: "Mom there is this support group you should join......". Yeah right. I'm still a little unclear about how your Mom came to this realization. Can you explain a little more. What is a darshan?

Oh right, so a darshan is where you go to see a guru (or a temple statue) and you bring offerings and ask for blessings.
Most people ask for personal life things, so my mom thought it couldn't hurt to ask for a husband for me! She made sure to say "suitable" so that it might match her idea of suitable or my idea of suitable.
Wheelchairs in India are incredibly rare. People with mobility problems usually crawl around on the street, it's pretty bad. I saw a couple people with big three wheeled carts with a hand cycle thing on them, that's as close to a wheelchair I've seen in the whole two weeks.
So, to see a wheelchair is pretty unlikely! Her seeing that seemed like a sign from God.
