Not only do we like you, we accept you for who you are, confusions, hectic schedule and all. So just relax and enjoy the ride.

i hopped over here from NM out of curiosity & that interesting situation that i ran into in 3D...and i found nice people....i am so sick of the constant warfare @ NM and,,until the last cpl days...found this site a breath of fresh air...im all about honesty w/ oneself & with others so that appeal was another plus,,,,and my old buddy carp hangin out here was all the reference needed to tell me it is a good place....i wasnt suprised to find out the grrl devz were nothing like male devz,,,that type of behavior from a woman just doesnt compute in my very lil brain...thanx for welcoming a cynical ol crip,,,i like it here and u cant make me go,,,so there!,,*giggle*

why do disabled people make you so nervous lucretia? ie I got married, divorced and married again... all AB guys. Why? Because even if I'd met a wheeler (and I didn't) I would have never had the nerve to approach him.

Because even if I'd met a wheeler (and I didn't) I would have never had the nerve to approach him. I'm not Lucretia but I feel compelled to stick my nose in anyway. Personally I've never approached any of the men I've dated. They always approach me. Men on wheels never have... not in real life anyway. When I use online dating sites I tend to do the approaching but the results have been pretty unsuccessful so far. I wonder if it's who I am they object to or if there's something wrong with my approach... maybe I'll start another thread about that and ask the gents around here.

male wheelchair users like myself, can be very confident in life, sexuality etc, but nervous or just so used to women looking away that they dont see any point in making an approach as they dont want to embaress the woman herself or themselves.

I've never been just flat told that before. That's crazy. I don't mind the friends, though. I say you're better off with females that wanna be friends than no company at all. I certainly am not going to drive anyone away because they don't like me the way I want...

On a more serious note, Lucretia, I found your original post quite touching, it was just so honest and heartfelt. Now we just need to find a way to introduce you to a great wheelchair dude. You will not be disappointed, I assure you. - Sid
