Remember that 28 year old I mentioned? Well, I'm seeing him on Friday if all goes well. He contacted me first, surprises of all surprises. We're going to meet in Montreal. We'll see what happens after that.
I'm very nervous. Just because I'm not liking how I look in the mirror these days. And he's 28 and I'm 43. I hope things go well.
I also have an issue, but I told him about it. I am going in for surgery on the 27th of May to have my uterus out. I didn't tell him that or did I tell him why. I have pre cancer, so I have to have everything out. I went for Pre-op today. Everything is going crazy around here. I found out near the end of March, 2 weeks after they took a biopsy from me. The day of my biopsy, my ex found out he had a cancerous tumor in his liver and it's in his gall bladder, and in his lungs and there is nothing they can really do for him. So I wasn't sure if this was a good time getting involved with anyone. And now I have both of my girls with me. The oldest is 18. The youngest is 15, 16 on July 4th.
Oh well, wish me luck.

Best of luck to you with all you have going on. If nothing else the date will be a nice diversion...something fun to look forward to amongst the stressful things.

So sorry to hear that you will need a hysterectomy, Dentelle. Def go on the date and have as much fun as you can. I don't think there is any need to tell your date at this point.

Thanks to everyone. I hope we have fun. The weather isn't supposed to be too good weather-wise. I plan on going earlier in the day to do some shopping. I haven't been in Montreal since December because of construction on the bridge. Supposedly it's not as bad now. I'll give it a try

Well, no date today. He's not feeling good. Tomorrow night.
Sigh, he's ready to rush into things. I've been chatting with him. Honestly, he has to slow down. It makes me feel uncomfortable to be rushed. I won't be rushed. So there.
