Geez DeeDee...that wasn't near as fun as I thought it would be! You aced it...there is a pic or two in Mexico, and further south...but you nailed the European destinations....I either need to dig deeper...or better yet, travel some more Thailand, Australia/New Zealand and Eastern Europe are on my short list.

I want to go to Japan. I love the Japanese culture. I have been pretty much coast to coast in Canada. I'm just missing the Eastern provinces, the Territories, and Yukon. The furthest east that I've been was Gaspésie a few summers ago. s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb183/Dente11e/?start=all

But I dream to know Scothland and Ireland!!... And I would like to know a couple of places in US...(Like Tennessee and NJ ) just to meet my friends in there!!...

I´ve never been in Venezuela, but Brazil is a beautiful place and Argentina is lovely too. But, like I always say... regreatabily we have a "non accesible" country. If you stay in the center of the town, the turistic side, it could be pretty accesible, but... (talking about Buenos Aires) the rest of the city is totally unaccesible!...

I think Jamaica would be cool. I loved Hawaii! I had 3 brothers that lived there, so would go frequently...sometimes for a month at a time. It, to me was a phenomenal place to live in a wheelchair, and the bus system was top-notch. Unfortunately I found the women there to be more shallow than everywhere else I have been. It's kind of funny...now that I think about it...much of my travel has been motivated by meeting a girl...lol!

I love England and had family there, so visited often when I was younger. I have seen a good deal of the UK, but not Scotland or Wales (would love to see both). I would love to see Japan with my daughter as she is a huge Japanese culture fan (anime and all that) but would rather wait until she is a bit older.
To be honest, I am a bit of a homebody at heart, given to enjoying my surroundings where they are. I am fortunate to live within a 1 hour or less drive from mountains, beach and major city. I enjoy having my pick. Some of my fondest memories are truly of the NJ Shore ( VERY unlike what you see on TV - so help me God). It is just one of those places that has a mixture of natural beauty and kitsch in equal amounts and it smells like childhood!

I would love to see more of the british isles as well..i found it difficult to get around in most of europe...i was forced to stick to the 'touristy' stuff... my preference is to get off the beaten patch and experience the culture and people of the destination. i have big off road tires on my chair that help a lot while in europe with the cobblestone, and in mexico and s. america where the sidewalks can be non-existent, or primitive at best. I enjoy being at home like you BA, but when it's just me, it's lonely...so for now I will probably continue to travel a lot, and settle down more once I find that ideal companion. ps, I haven't heard the word kitsch in a loooong time... I always wanted to start and name a band that. LOL

I've lived in the UK for 5 years now and am still discovering things I haven't explored, I absolutely love it. There are some great little villages out in the middle of nowhere with old pubs loaded with character. Then of course the big cities...just happened to see a whole load of naked people on bicycles parading through Covent Garden in London today. Never a dull moment. lol www.guardian.co.uk/environment/green-living-blog/2010/jun/14/cyclists-world-naked-bike-ride
