Not about meeting ppl... but, I´m a devote believer of Murphy´s Law´s!! They are almost always right!

I was the best example of Murphy's Law when I first tried to meet my wheeler - everything that could go wrong did.
You can't fight it. All you can do is either move on or yell 'OBJECTION' and plead your case to the powers that be.
In my case that involved a side bar with the judge, several appeals and a grand jury.
The Jury's still out on my case but I hope that yours is less problematic!

Sounds like we've all had out struggles with Murphy! Rightly or wrongly I still have faith in fate and that things and people come into your life at certain times for certain reasons. We just need to work out how to help fate along sometimes if we can.  |

i saw the first attractive para guy i've seen in *ages* the other day... wheeling past at a pace that was actually reasonable to keep up/catch up with. he was like an oasis in my dev desert.
unfortunately i was looking out a second floor window at the sidewalk he was on, with my feet stuck under the drying machine post-pedicure!
oh, murphy....

Not about meeting people but still Murphy... dammit. Car's check engine light came on today. I finally get over to see what it is and the third cylinder isn't firing... so cool, likely just need to change plugs and wires. Not a big deal, except it's FREEZING outside! Gah! Not freezing like up north freezing, it's about 58. So I'm not gonna freeze to death. but week before last the humidity dropped and it felt so nice and cool but was still 95. Murphy is an ass. |
