Something that confused me about the movie that I forgot to mention last night was... why in the world did they prosecute him for Ariel's death??? As far as I could tell, he didn't keep the paramedics away... did he give some order that I didn't see? It seemed kinda far-fetched to me.

It wasn´t him but the others and his ways made them supposse that he could "cure" her

I think him trying to cure her was preventing the paramedics from getting through. He didn't relinquish her to the experts, which is definitely worth a manslaughter charge. It's like obstruction of justice, but on the medical side. He should have been trying to help keep the crowds back, rather than getting them riled up.

Found him! twitter.com/#!/ccthorny I love Twitter. I was skeptical at first, but I caught on to it in about three days and it's been an incredible resource for me.

Awesome! Yes, please interview him for your blog!
Thanks for chatting last night everyone. It was really fun, even though I trashed one of the movies, I enjoyed having a chance to talk about both of them with you.
Lavly, where were you?!

Now I just have to get him to be willing to talk to me! He is a bit big of a star for an unknown person to randomly interview him. Hopefully he'll be wanting the press. He doesn't seem to be on Twitter anymore, I think he joined just to promote Sympathy when it first came out. I tried friending him on Facebook too. I'm starting to feel like a stalker.

DD, I missed your post before. Did you end up finishing it? I usually don't like faith healing as a theme, but with this one I rather liked it because I KNEW they weren't going to cure him at the end One of the great benefits of a real para in the role. The end really said to me: there are different kinds of healing.

Oh, and if you want to see Chris Thornton cleaned up, I just discovered him on an old episode of My Name is Earl:

You shouldn't feel like you have to! It is dark and there are not really any dev moments. I just really, really liked the very last scene. It felt hopeful and happy to me.

I think he is much more cute now than in My name is Earl. His actual "cleaned up" pictures are hot! LOL

Had another Christopher Thornton sighting! I've been watching a show called Lie to Me. In the episode last night they were trying to round up some illegal poker players. One guys points to a picture and says, "This guy is called wheels." And I started getting excited Indeed, they bring him in and he's called wheels because he's in a wheelchair and it's Christopher Thornton. He looked as scruffy as ever, but I still think he's hot
