Excitement! I'm on the other side of Australia, and we're 3 hours behind EST (Sydney), so that makes me 6 hours ahead (right?). If that's a problem I could go an hour earlier, but I sadly can't justify leaving work early. That is perfect! How about 13.00 my time, 19.00 your time? Does any one else want to join Peony´s and my on-line get-together? ;D Enid? Cake? Sverige? Doe?

no need to apologize, it just sounded like you guys were getting a good plan together and i also didn't want your info to get lost in the thread where people may not see it, either!

Yes, "This Life Is Yours" for Oct 26 sounds good to me! I really want to talk about Aiki too but I'm afraid if we schedule 2 movies people won't have time to watch both. We can save it for another time.

I'll admit that I'm glad you're saving Aiki for later. :-)

The movie is on page 1 of the dev movie thread in the original German www.megaupload.com/?d=U5JD3R94or with English subtitles www.megaupload.com/?d=W5H8GW3VThanks sverige!

Val I downloaded both the movie in German and the English subtitles and when I click in the movie download (via VLC media file) all it does is play without video using the German audio

Val I downloaded both the movie in German and the English subtitles and when I click in the movie download (via VLC media file) all it does is play without video using the German audio Once it's playing, on the top VLC menu go to video->subtitle track->Open file. And select your srt file. (Note: my VLC is in Spanish... wording might not be exactly the same). If you don't see the top menu, right-clicking has the same result. I mean, I dowloaded them both yesterday and they worked... I don't think there's anything wrong with the uploaded files

It works! I actually didn't do anything with the menus.....just opened the VLC file this morning and it cam on picture and subtitles. Thanks Val and Enid for your help, I'm useless when it comes to computer issues that involve finding programs that make things run.

I got Double Take in the mail yesterday. I ordered the "full price" $6 amazon one (which they called 'bargain') thinking that was better since I would be supporting the author but when it arrived it looked like a 'good condition' used book with some ink stains and dog ear-ing on the cover. For anyone who orders one I'd suggest the cheaper used books.
