Hi everyone. I have been a member for quite a while, but haven't been active on the board for some time, so I just wanted to drop in and say hi...
A little about myself. I was born a healthy, kicking and screaming boy. I tried out every sport known to man (yep all 12 of them) Okay, I only tried out a few In my teenage years I discovered the beautiful creations named women, and have been an addict ever since Just for the record, I do have some other interests as well Did the walking and running thing for just over twenty years. Thereafter I took up the hobby of wheelchairing, thanks to a SCI
About 4 years ago, on a beautiful sunny day, I was reading through an article and there it was, the word "DEVOTEE". I couldn't believe the words my eyes were reading "…women who are attracted to men in wheelchairs…". On the web I found there were mixed feelings on the matter, and I guess like with most things in life it can't be all good… I did a bit of searching and found Paradevo. Must admit I was rather cautious to join, because I didn't know what to expect… Over the past 4 years I have chatted with a few devs I have met on here, and have never found the need or any reason to change my name or address, well at least not yet All jokes aside, my past experiences with devs have all been positive… I have to add, I have never dated a dev (well not that I am aware of...), so my experiences are pretty limited… Until today I still find it fascinated that there are women who actually DON'T want to look past the wheelchair. I think most wheelers are under the impression that women NEED to look past the disabled side of them, to find them attractive…
I hope to be more active on the board this time around and try to learn even more on the devotee matter…
Wishing you all a great day!
PS. I remember on a previous thread there was a discussion over a dev logo (tattoo) so I tried my hand at one… It is basic, but it has a wheeler, heart and the letters of the word dev in it, so it can be used as a beacon to all wheelers and devs out there I tried to make the wheeler not to obvious…
