0o0o0o0, following Ene's lead... The Latin word for quickly is celeriter... close enough to not have to change it much. Celerider? As long as English speakers don't think it's celery rider. Others: Quickly=velociter (I regret that I left veloci out of the first post... velocirider? veloci-something) Fast = ieiunium Active= agens, impiger Wheel = canthus (noun), circumago, circuago (both verbs) Roll = revolvet, volvo (who knew???), intorqueo, perfluo (verbs), spira was a close match noun-wise

I like "ieiunium", just for the look of it, but I wouldn't know what it means if I saw it the first time.

You guys are awesome! These are all great suggestions. I actually do have a famous wheelchair basketball player who was mentioned once in the story. Could def have a model named after him if I wanted at some point. Great ideas, feel free to keep them coming .

The part where it says "etymology" Mind you, my little sister once in a while suggests it as a boy name, and she knows what it means...

Interesting, Enid. Did not know the etymology for jejuneum. Actually don't know the etymology for most medical terms other than they usually come from Latin (or Greek), or they're named after the guy who first described/discovered it, like the Circle of Willis (in the brain). Also, really glad you guys are having fun with this, it is fun .

Yes, "volvo" literally means "I roll", but I think some Swede took that name already ;D
Maybe "volver" instead? "Turning"?
Or the Red Indian kind (like the "Arrow of the Nice Meadow"): "Wheel of the Cool Street", "Roller of the Urban Jungle" ;D

OK wow so I'm researching wheelchairs and this one company offers (in one of their models) a 24-karat, gold-plated wheelchair frame. I'm just... wow. Am I just crazy, or who would want a gold wheelchair?? Blofeld. An ageing Goldfinger.

Hmm, I was thinking about "turning" as in "turning the wheel around" ... Have you come to a decision?

I'm leaning toward Rapilite Xcalibre for the brand and model.
