lol.
I am actually completely rewriting from scratch a book I finished twelve years ago! I think it's going to turn out awesome and it's been so long since i looked at it that it's actually kind of nice to have so much just waiting for me.

*shrug* The emotions were there for me, and she loved him disability and all, so that's what counts. What I need to like a story is in-depth characterisation and being able to "follow" the protagonist. Understanding his/her motivations and consequently feeling for him/her. I don`t get that from Blue Moon (sorry Ruth, not meant to hurt you).

I definitely don't mind harsh critique of my work. I give it and I like to get it. Helps me to improve!
A comment of: "That character is pathetic" doesn't help me much, though! lol. I didn't find this critique to be constructive or useful.
Now the discussion from the review has been very valuable!
Someone suggested perhaps expanding the story into a longer piece, which would give me the opportunity to flesh out the characters more and help them easier to relate to.
