Oooooh, Ruth!
I just read it on my lunch break. I won't say that I didn't enjoy the original, but WOW, this one was SO much better! The Stewart sections were just perfect, and I think the thought you put into those really brought Elizabeth's side into the light as well. The balance was so much better. Everything was just so much more of a complete story, and I think it'll appeal to way more people now.

Thanks, Jane! That is exactly what I hoped for!  The balance still isn't perfect, but I do think it's better and the structure is better. I think (I hope) I really am growing as a writer. Just as an fyi: Both Tabby and Ximena have FABULOUS sites, and I am experiencing some serious site-envy!! LOL If you have not checked out Alice Gibson or Chie Aleman... To do it now!! They are both most impressive!  |
