So anyone who has talked to me knows I am a huge Jesse Blackburn fan (from the Evan Delaney series of books by Meg Gardiner).
I was chatting about Jesse with Jane W (b/c, uh, duh, we're both "in love" with him), and we started joking about fan fiction. She tossed out the idea of a fan fiction contest, and I Thought that would be a lot of fun!! (Especially since it doesn't look like Ms. Gardiner has plans for another Evan Delaney book any time soon... booo!)
I'm not sure how many of you have read the books and/or would be interested in participating...
Thought I'd see if there were enough of us to do this. I would think we'd keep submissions to under 5K and have a set "topic": Write the scene between Evan and Jesse after the cliffhanger of Kill Chain.
Thoughts??
Edit: I've been told that my topic may be too loaded and/or limit creativity too much. So if you guys are interested in this, we could pick another topic if you'd prefer.
