What's politically correct about it? I was checking it out and it looks a lot like Scrivener... is the difference that this one is more for ipads?

I haven't heard of it. I think, rebecca, she was joking about the "-ist" in the name. Have you tried it, Tab?

Hi, yes I have tried it. I have the mini ipad and still have a bit of a block using it to write on, at the moment I just surf the net and play with the apps (Clay Jam being a favourite). The pros are that it has the story board that I find handy and can move around the cards easily though I have found that they sometimes disappear but I wonder if that is just something wrong that I am doing. You can get the cards to be a list/outline like on scrivener and the templates are there, ready and waiting. There is a section for character bios, settings, notes. I also like that, unlike Scrivener, the writing is done in a continuous manor and not broken up into different section.
The cons, that the writing is continuous and not broken up into different sections, see I am not sure if this is a good thing or not. I am still trying to work out which I do better with. The fact that the ipads are small devices and I have to re-educate myself on them. I am not sure yet how to get the work out of storyist and into word or some such word processor. But it is the best writing app for ipads that I have come across to date.
Yes was just joking, the name Storyist just appealed to me.

Ah, OK. Might stick to pages/google docs then. Tab, you may want to invest in a bluetooth keyboard if you're going to take writing on your iPad seriously. I love mine. I just bought the one from apple. It's light and small and works great, and the batteries last a pretty long time, too.
