Well, kinkiness is OK with me (oh yeh ), but it was not that what restarted this thread. According to my understanding "rape" is NOT a kink - it is a crime... yes it is, rape is assault if doing something to a person without their consent or against their wishes.

Violence and pain are OK, as long as there is consent, lots of comunication and trust. I have fantasies where I´m kidnapped and raped, and would love to act on them someday, but it has to be the right person... I haven´t found someone I can trust with that yet.
Spurs, please keep writing!!!!! You have no idea the effects your story is having on me... (ok, maybe TMI *blushes*)

I think that there is an important distinction to be made between kinky and open minded. Personally, I'll try just about anything...Especially, if there is something that my partner feels strongly about. But really, there aren't -too- many things out of the ordinary that I fantasize about. I guess what I'm asking is, is desire to be 'kinky' the defining feature of kinkyness? Or, is one considered kinky simply by the willingness to participate in kinky behaviour?

maybe kinky is what an individual thinks of others from a personal perspective when it is something unusual or doesnt conform to what society thinks of as "normal" ,bit like devotees. What they think of kinky may be just unusual fun to the people concerned.

Good point, wheelie. \
By any rational definition, I am kinky as hell. But I never thought of myself as such, really...then someone I know told me; "You're kinky." I'd just thought I was adventurous and creative.
So...kinky people may not think they're kinky.

to me it just means deviations of being broad minded

It still is a very broad term. What someone thinks it is normal, others might think it is deviant, and vice versa... I do think of myself as somewhat kinky because I have come to realize my friends and people I`ve met don`t like the same stuff I think is fun... whatever...

road jobs? In a crowded theater, bring pleasure to eachother with your hands? Jerking off while standing over partner? Slipping a finger in the brown hole while diving? Doing it in your parents bed? Some one very older than you? Yonger(leagle of course)?Dildo's? But plugs?Spankings? Tying or getting tied up?Ice cubes? Where is the line?
See to some its kinky, to others its just fun. The most bizzare chicks I have been with have had some sort of unusual sexual experiance in there past, like getting raped at a young age by relitives or close famly friends. I feel bad that they had to experiance that at a age where they realy did not understand what it is all about.
Also I have noticed that there are a lot more girls at the titty bars. Most of them come in with there botfriends, like out of a 100 peoplethere might be 10-15 girls there that dont work there. 10 years ago that was unheard of. Whats the deal with that?Is being more open about the "darker" side becomming more acepted?
