First time trying pictures. Lets see if this works. I took this in November. I like coming across this old farm scrap. I often wonder how many ppl sat on those seats. It would hurt like hell to get thrown off of this equipment when it was in use. Help was a long way off. This was taken in true Alberta prairie land. I was bombing around on my ATV. Looking for Bambi's dad. Never did find him. Attachment DeletedI got stuck in the snow here. So off of the machine and start digging out the tires. Fun times.

Well that last one worked so let's try it again. I mentioned that I'm a certified welder. But I prefer to recycle metal rather than weld it. So I haul scrap cars to the wrecking yard. I know, it's not what ppl expect a double amp to be doing. So today I had two dodge caravans to offload at the crushers. While I was sitting on the trailer deck cleaning it off and strapping down some stuff I looked around for my chair. Today in Alberta we had 120km/h wind gusts. It was brutal. Turns out, the wind took my chair across the scrap yard. Maybe you can see it in the picture. This isn't the first time it's happened. You would think if learn, but in my defence I was thinking of the payoff. Can you see it lodged against a mustang? Attachment DeletedI took this picture from up on top of my trailer I use. Jbl

At an adult toy store? Too funny. Was there at least a good looking woman around to rescue you? I can tell you they don't work in the scrap yards around these parts.
It gets cold here. Last weekend I worked outside. I think with the wind it dropped to -40 Celsius. I do believe that -40 c is the same in Fahrenheit. Now today, strong winds and melting. In five minutes it changes. Summers can get hot here in Alberta.
Fall is the best time to be outside.. No better time to be an Albertan if you like the outdoors. I think I have a picture or two of one of my elk hunting spots. I'll have a look.
This province has so many beautiful areas to see. If you are bored. Google "writing on stone provincial park". I had never been in all my life and finally took my kids to see it two years ago.
It is a word heritage site. Very neat! As it turns out the wikepedia search has the best write up. When I was there it was pushing plus 40 degree Celsius. That equals HOT. Like drink a litre of water an hour hot. Watch out for rattle snakes in that part of the province. But none in my part. I'm near Edmonton.

I had the one I bought with me. She was kinda the reason it happened. I have a small car so if I am alone I throw my chair in the passenger seat. When someone is with me I have them put my chair in the trunk. Well she took it out of the trunk and parked it next to me without locking the brakes. I wasn't paying attention and when I turned back around the chair was a good 50 yards away. At least it was during the day when most are ashamed to go. The lot was empty.
I don't even like going out in the rain. I can't imagine trying to deal with those conditions!

This is a three wheel bike that a friend and I made many years ago. It is used strictly for off road applications. We installed a vertical crank, and for some unknown reason I had a folding wheelchair sitting around. I stripped it down and mounted it on the frame of the bike so I would have a place to sit. It is all arm power and no brakes, other than a gloved hand. I use it for when I want to get to a location with my bow and wait for a deer or an elk. And when I want to get there in stealth mode. I should have made this bike 25 years ago. I'm sure my shoulders would be in better condition. I can't tell you how far I've hiked on my arms. This bike sure saves wear and tear on them and my pants. It's rough, nothing fancy. But it offers me more freedom to be me! Attachment Deleted
