So this past week I finally took a honeymoon and at the end of the week I was at a comic book convention. Sunday morning there was a panel on social media for authors, so I went to that.
It was so small! Just about ten people there to listen and four to talk.
I don't feel like I learned anything really new, but it was refreshing and inspiring and it got my creative mind churning. I'm going to try to put into practice what I've learned and get Dev Love Press's social media presnece a bit stronger!
I was suprised that one of the panelists was another small publisher and he funds all his books through kickstarter. I have to admit I'm proud that we've been able to afford all our production costs, but it's good to know that some publishers are having success with that model.
