The startle reflex associated with CP is a bugbear. Not physically as such, but the reactions to it. Mind you actually being scared can be severe too. Like when I went on a date with a girl to see Harry Potter 7a. Whenever that goddamn snake lunged at the camera, my coke and popcorn went all over her. She was not amused. Not even when I poured the remains into my lap to even the odds, her freinds were cooing and giggling at least. It is precisely the reason I never buy popcorn or soda when I go to the cinema, little Hopper! (Especially if the movie is the action genre or thriller genre).

Yeah, that was the last time I did. Too pricey now anyway.
Back on topic, full body spasms from the spine do leave a lasting ache in the back.

Prolonged spasms hurt and can cause me to have a panic attack.

Spasm is good for keeping muscle tone in paralyzed limbs- helps avoid pressure sores......it's also sexy to see it happen.....
