I've always heard about how food/eating is or can be erotic, sexually stimulating. Not for me. Ever. At all. Nor have I in my 44 years ever actually heard anyone else talk about food eroticism; no buddy has ever related some incident of eating strawberries and chocolate from someones belly button or like that.
Could it be a big myth? See, for me food relates to chewing, digestion which then relates to...aah, less than sexy matters. Food is kinda gross in some ways. It's smellly, messy...what is erotically enticing about that? I could never eat at a strip club(they often have buffets); to me, it just doesn't go together.
I HAVE heard that girls who love to eat also love sex. That would make sense.
Good topic dolly.

For me food isn't sexy, and I have yet to find an aphrodisiac. I have tried, but food just doesn't do anything for me. But, I have to say I do like good food to make up for not so good sex!

For me, alcohol damps down horniness considerably. In fact, in the past I used to drink because I wasn't getting laid, and beer sort of took the edge off that...
Marijuana on the other hand...God! Unfortunately dope disagrees with me in other ways; makes me nervous and clumsy. So I'd be stoned, jittery, paranoid, hungry and horny, all at once! haha Not a pretty sight...

Yeah my DH and I have a problem with alcohol. When he drinks, it makes him amorous. When I drink, it puts me to sleep. Not to mention that when he's a bit tipsy, he turns me off!

yep, I think with just the right amount of alcohol (just enough to loosen up) - the right amount of "playfulness" will happen as well ;D

Honestly, I don't know what it is, but alcohol doesn't really sway me either way...but I typically don't drink enough, to be reported as doing anything really different from myself...it might just be that I would need to drink a lot for that to happen.

mmmmmm, a margarita. I think that qualifies for me. No other alcoholic beverage has a similar effect.
It has to be a good one, though. The tequila doesn't need to be pricey, it's the mix that's the key. A mix with fresh lime juice is unbeatable. During the day a standard margarita is fine. In the evening, substituting Grand Marnier for the triple sec makes for a very warm, luscious drink. The combination of the alcohol, salt, lime, and sugar is amazing. I like the first sip and the last sip best. The first drink is great because there's some anticipation associated with it, especially with it's great smell. Makes my mouth water. The last taste is great because it's different, it super concentrated with salt some of the salt has settled in the bottom. Gives it a real nice kick and so the drink ends with a different, but still great, taste.

I had a margarita once. It was like submerging yourself in the sea up to your nose, opening your mouth, and pouring in tequila.
But you make it sound pretty good, Matisse...

You don't have to like tequila to like margaritas. I never drink tequila straight, or even close to straight. But you can't dislike it and like a margarita.
