Hi. I'm a gay spinal injured quad C6 with leave to use up in the last 2 weeks of March so up for a vacation, ideally meeting with a gay/bi devotee or two..
I'm looking to travel pretty much anywhere within reason, I can only be away for a week so Far East and South America etc are a bit of a stretch.
Top thoughts are: Chicago New York Canary Islands City break in Europe
More suggestions welcome. If you're a dev serious about meeting up, leave a message or drop me a line.
Hope to hear from you soon.

The East Coast and Midwest have been getting pelted with snow the last few years, so there is a risk you'll not be able to enjoy the sights in Chicago or NYC. From an access standpoint Chicago is much better than NYC, with the best wheeler cab deployment in the whole country. If NYC, it's best to stay close to the Times Sq. area because it puts you within rolling distance of a lot of places.
No West Coast? SF is cold in the summer, but March should be nice. Vegas should be nice as well. LA will be nice but it's tough to get around. San Diego will be nice but it's more of a place to do things and relax than a place to see sights.

Thanks. I've been to NYC a few times and love it. It also seems there are quite a few handsome dev guys there which is a plus. LA wasn't my favourite but Chicago looks great. Do gay devs live there too?
San Francisco looks very hilly

Don't know about the gay dev guys in Chicago, but the city itself is great. I've stayed at the Conrad Hilton and Mag Mile Marriott (right next to each other) and the location is excellent and the ADA rooms are very good. You can roll down mag mile for the shopping and to get to the Hancock observatory. Then perpendicular is a hopping restaurant area. One of these days I am going to try the architectural boat tour, which someone said has some accessible boats.
SF is definitely hilly.....but with some planning you can do ok, since there are large flat areas around a lot of the touristy stuff. I don't know personally about cabs since I drive in, but my wheeler friend who lived there seemed to do ok. Don't know about gay devs but as I'm sure you know, SF has a significant gay presence.

It's a pity you can not come to South America this time! It would be a pleasure to meet you in person, because I know one or two gay men devs in Brazil.

I would only suggest SF to a wheeler using a turbo charged power chair for sure

Way overstated on SF. As Matisse said there many flat areas including the Castro, a major hangout for gays, and if you're into leather the Folsom area is really flat. There's at least one guy that hangs out in the Castro with a manual chair and have seen many others over the years including one I dated for a while. Remember the disabled in the greater Bay area were one of the main groups that pushed disability rights in the US; thus accessible transit, curb cuts, etc.
