I was wondering how many of you guys here blog. When I was at rehab, I started blogging as a joke but it ended up being a therapeutic experience for me. Are there others who went through the same? I'm talking about blogs that talk about everyday life, not dev fiction.

I don't blog because...well, actually...haha, I do know the reason. As a tiny kiddo, I started a diary. In 3rd grade, my sister stole it--read it---and told the boy I liked. I know it seems silly, but I haven't been comfortable leaving a written non-fiction legacy since then.
THAT SAID, I'd be interested in reading yours (as I'm sure many other devs & pwds would). If you're comfortable, post a link here (or pm it if not).

Myself and hungryquad have a blog. Mainly it is my posts, but he has contributed one as well. It is about the dev/pwd relationship as well as a long distance relationship. |

Alf has a blog where he talks about disability rights stuff.
I occasionally write about stuff in my blog. Lately I've just reposted other people's stuff.
I tend to write more when I'm angry.

bowlergrl0524 , Thank you for talking about your blog!! Would you please share it with me if you think It's okay? Since I'm not sure how much anonymity I can forgo on Paradevo, I'll stick to 'pm'ing the link on demand. Honestly, I'm so embarrassed about all that stuff now. lucretia , I know what you mean. There are several posts that I had written when I was angry. Although, I published only a couple of them. Counting to ten was a really wise move. Once in a while, I found myself blogging when I'm really happy too.

I, like anniemouse, had a negative diary experience. I was a bit older, but betrayal tends to stick with you. I used to blog way back in the day about being a military spouse, and all it entailed, followed by the fallout when I was separated and subsequently divorced. I used to find it cathartic, but I reached a point where I only blogged when I was angry, so I decided to give it up. I'm better off reading others blogs. |
