I recently went to Vegas with my first selfie stick. When I left I forgot my selfie stick in the room. But today I found something on clearance!

Just two friendly suggestions, if I may. If you make a single thread for your photos and update that thread, it's normally more conducive to conversations being started. Also, we have a limited amount of storage at Paradevo for pics, so if you upload the pics to something like www.imgur.com or www.deviantart.com or www.photobucket.com you can right click the image location of those photos and post the URL in the little popup where you would normally upload your pics. This saves us bandwith and storage space. Thanks for the heads up on the photos. I haven't researched how to load photos per a third party site but will soon. I've deleted most of the pics so we don't fill the allowed space for the site. Cool dude, you can always upload them to the third party site and post them back here when ready. I haven't researched this yet but it's the weekend so I'll have some time to try to upload then post here? As you may or may not know, Paradevo uses a free version of Proboards that has extremely limited capabilities. One of those limitations is that we have only 200 MB of storage capacity for attachments. Whenever you attach a photo or any other image to your post, that counts toward the limit. We are now around 90% capacity, and when it reaches 100% no one will be able to attach anything more. In the past when we reached this limit, I deleted photos that were more than 5 years old, but there has been a big increase in attachments lately, and attachment size is also bigger. Many attachments are from the past 2 years. Going forward, we have two options: 1. Pay for more storage capacity. This means giving Proboards a credit card number for monthly payments in perpetuity. Lee and I are not going to do this, but I believe anyone can pay for it, not just moderators. Try out this link and see: www.proboards.com/store/checkout/service2. The free option. But this means that all older attachments will be periodically deleted. For now I will delete attachments older than one year, that should be enough to keep us under the limit. Just be aware that whatever you attach will not stay on the board forever. I will wait a week or two to see if anyone is interested in volunteering to subsidize increased storage capacity, otherwise we will go with the free option. Sorry, I know you all love sharing photos but if we want to enjoy a free service, there are limitations. Thank you! Yes, hosting off site is the best option. Please do that! And if you convert your pics, even better, thank you. But anyway we still want to have the option to upload attachments so either someone pays for it or old attachments get periodically deleted. A new thread for every pic 8mph, is that really necessary? It's great that you are sharing pics of yourself but do you know about the recent issue PD is having with storage capacity for attachments (aka pictures). Why can't you do what Braced suggested above and have the pics uploaded to a 3rd party site? 2 new threads a day is not necessary. We have had lots of members here who like to share pics and created their own thread where they post pictures every time they have something interesting to share. Why not create your own pic thread instead of making a while new thread for every picture? Sorry to those of you who may be offended, I was sort of nominated to be the bitch for tonight.

Not to worry. If I'll using the board incorrectly I should know. I'll need to expand on one thread. Thanks for the direction. I appreciate it.

Yea with social media apps posting tons of pictures is common but it doesn't translate as well into forums like this if it's a ton of threads. It was good advice to condense your pics into one thread, as 7 of the last 14 threads were yours

Check this out. Having my van serviced on Friday, chatting it up with a guy doing the same. Turns out he's a pro baseball player in for spring training. Great guy, exchanged Vegas stories. Phoenix is swarming with spring training.

Sorry to slightly hijack this thread... Sorry I missed the picture thread from about a month ago. Is there an easy way to go in and strip/delete attachments from previous posts to help with the size issue? I know I posted a few pictures around Halloween via attachment since I didn't know this was an issue, and I don't mind going in and deleting them to make space!

The best way is to click on your profile then display all your posts, as you scroll through you can delete any photos if you want to. Thanks very much for doing this.

I went through and I think I deleted all of the attached photos. I'll be sure to link them instead from now on. :-)
