The ads bug me and I think there's probably a tracking cookie associated with them and/or the site. Just an FYI, it's all a big marketing thing, owned by a lot of DME companies. aboutus.disaboom.com/Partners.aspx

That's cool. I'm not saying there's no value to the site - I'm just saying that they have their own agenda, and it isn't all about creating an online community for people with disabilities. 'S all.

Most sites have an agenda that involves making money. Yahoo's primary goal isn't really helping you find stuff online.

I can't put my finger on it, but something just seems strange about it.

It says in the "About us" section, that they have what I need "to define who I am, and what life I will lead". Finally, the answer's to those question's !!!

I don't like the site. And there is definitely some sort of cookie thing -- I was seeing ads for it on nearly every page I visited, then I deleted my web history, and didn't see them for a while. Then after I'd been to some disability related site or googled something related, they began appearing again. But I'm not complaining. The tattooed shirtless guy is always a very welcome sight.

LOL! I can relate, I love that tattooed shirtless guy, and he seems to be popping up all over the place.

anyone know who he is? Is he a true wheeler or just an AB modeling? I'd say there's a chance he's not fake because their other model is the double amputee Mom, so they appear to at least sometimes use real disabled people in their ads (unless they CGI'ed her legs off).
