Great, because I HATE spoilers!!! 😂 Did you read the Jack and Jill first? Is that necessary? I just looked it up on Amazon and it recommends that you read those before. I'm out of reading options right now I can't find ANYTHING in the genre. I don't mind a female PWD as the lead but I don't want to miss out if it's a really good and worthy series. Also (shameless self plug to follow) I'm releasing my first book in my series next month. I should have link ready for pre-order by the end of the week that will have a sample of the writing. For now if you all want to stay in loop you can follow me on Twitter or Instagram under averyjkingston. Here is link to Instagram cover with blurbJack and Jill!?? I don't think so... Will check your book too... Jeez, I have so many reads waiting 😵🙃

That series sounded kind of boring to me. Looking forward to reading your writing !

I stumbled across another read this week that was recommended to me by a friend. For my blind dev's it's called Just Like Breathing by author Diana Gardin. It's a superb book, but fair warning it's a tearjerker.

Any one read "Are You Alone on Purpose?"? I read it this week and it was pretty cute. Characters are young...I think the girl is 14 and the guy is maybe 15/16. It doesn't shy away from talking about disability though, and has some devvy moments. It's about a asshole teenage boy who becomes a para after a diving accident, and a nerdy girl who feels she's only important to her parents because her twin brother has autism, so she is the one that doesn't cause them any problems.
And then they fall in love and all that haha. No sex, just kissing, but a nice little scene where they talk about sex and he wants to make sure she sees him in a sexual way.

This is was one of the books that I discovered when I was about 15. I did some work for my dad one summer and as reward he let me order some books on Amazon.com. This was way before the .co.uk site existed. This book and “The Raging Quiet” by Sheryl Jordan were the ones I ordered. It took 3 months for them to arrive to Ireland. I read them over and over the first few weeks. Then it would be every few months. That was in the late 90s. Over the years I’ve read them and re-read them. The Raging Quiet especially. It’s always my go to book when I’m really sick. Ive never found either of them for the kindle. I’d probably die now if I found them. Again, The Raging Quiet especially, as I’ve given hope. If I had time off, I’d love to type them up from the hardbacks I have. Just so I can carry them always.

It's a rainy day here and I might just have to give this one a read later today. I love a good coming-of-age romance now and then, especially if it's devvy!
