I've just watched Stranger Things over the last couple of days. I really enjoyed it. Plus the whole 80s-ness of it reminded me of shows I loved as a kid. I loved the show. I actually was a child in the 80s, so I remember that time quite well. Riding around the neighborhood on my BMX bike with my friends looking for fun and adventure is exactly the kind of thing I did as a child. It may seem strange to some now, but parents never knew what you were up to and didn't really care as long as you came home before night fall. It was a great time.

I just watched an old episode of Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" about the Pacific North West. One of the better shows to combine food and travel.

I have seen several episodes of him in Italy, but not that one. My favorite episode is the one about Shanghai to Shangri-La, because I have lived in Shanghai and have visited many of the eateries that were mentioned in that episode.

The Pacific North West episode is very entertaining as well. I watched that last Friday. Living in Shanghai was an experience of a life time. I used to live in a small town in the Netherlands (approx 14.000 inhabitants) before I moved to Shanghai (approx 21 million inhabitants). Huge culture shock! But I found an apartment in the old city centre on the 27th floor with a clear view on People's Park and I got an internship at Aon-COFCO at the landmark Jin Mao tower, 50th floor. The food was awesome, the city was wonderful and I traveled to many cities (27 in total) in China, including Beijing (Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace etc), Xi'an (Terra Cotta army etc) and Hong Kong.

Just watched documentary on domestic violence in the UK, Behind Closed Doors. It was a scary look at what these fucked up guys do to their women. There's some really fucked up AB guys out here, and the funny part of it, they conceal this crazy area for a long time in most cases, then slowly it drifts into dirty little insults, maybe a smack in the head, then maybe some other cruel thing, then an all out beating that could kill. I think if i was a woman, I'd be damn scared of men, really.

Been with so many women who had been in abusive relationships before. Don't know if it just girls that date guys in chairs. Or the fact that there are so many douchebags out there!

The Sacrifice. Reminded me a lot of the Wickerman.

I'm binging on Fleabag atm on BBC Iplayer ( Those of you in the States have it on Amazon Prime i believe) and despite only being halfway through Episode 1, it's brilliant.
It's a pitch black comedy drama that turns the 'quirky insecure woman finding her way in the world' found in so many things these days completely on it's head.

Finished Narcos. Man, what a great season! And even though I expected what was going to happen in the end, I was so shocked! Awesome! Now the wait begins... The only thing I hate about Netflix shows is that you have to wait a f***ing year for the next season. Boohoo. Also, I finally started with Supernatural again. I had watched the first three seasons in 2009 or so and never gotten to watch the ones after. Then one day when on Netflix and not knowing what to watch next, I started with the fourth and I immediately remembered why I loved that show so much back then. Great show! And hot lead characters!

Currently working my way through 11 seasons of Criminal Minds and 6 seasons of The Walking Dead. Only sleeping for 2-3 hours at night has it's benefits! haha

Luke Cage and it's amazing! I'm right there with you. It's fantastic and even though it's based on a comic, feels fresh with the original, stripped down take on "superheroes." Westworld starts tonight. The wild west, robots, boobs, gun fights AND Anthony Hopkins? I'm all in on that one!
